APPROVAL of a Consultant Contract between the City of Topeka and REVPAR International, Inc., for providing hotel advisory and asset management services.
(Approval will authorize the City Manager execute the contract for an amount estimated not to exceed $372,300 and asset management fees estimated to be approximately $144,000 per year plus expenses.)

Pursuant to TMC 3.30.010, all contracts for professional services exceeding $50,000 must be approved by the Governing Body. | | STAFF RECOMMENDATION: | Staff recommends that the Governing Body approves the contract as part of the consent agenda. | | BACKGROUND: | Request for Proposals bid event 2830 Hotel Asset Manager was issued on June 27, 2023 and closed on July 19, 2023, whereas 14 firms responded and were evaluated. Staff recommend award to REVPAR International, Inc. as the most qualified firm for this project.
