Ordinance No. 20178, approved by the Governing Body in April 2019 allows for the use of electric-assisted scooters in city limits.

| BACKGROUND: |
Governing Body members requested a representative from Bird Scooters provide a presentation and answer questions they related to the gives access to shared electric scooters.

| BUDGETARY IMPACT: |
Bird Rides, Inc. will pay $500 to the City to begin conducting business. They will then pay the City a fee of 15 cents per ride per Scooter per day which will be remitted on the 15th day of each month.
