RESOLUTION introduced by City Manager Brent Trout temporarily suspending certain Governing Body Rules and Procedures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic until February 16, 2021.
Voting Requirement: At least seven (7) votes of the Governing Body is required.
(Approval would continue the suspension of certain Governing Body rules for an additional 90 days until February 16, 2021.) | | VOTING REQUIREMENTS: | At least seven (7) votes of the Governing Body is required.
| | POLICY ISSUE: | Whether to continue the suspension of certain Governing Body rules addressing television coverage, public comment, and voting methods.
| | STAFF RECOMMENDATION: | Staff recommends the Governing Body move to approve the resolution.
| | BACKGROUND: | Due to COVID, the Governing Body has suspended some of it rules in order to facilitate virtual meetings and regulate public comment. These rules have been suspended since March 26, 2020.
| | BUDGETARY IMPACT: | There is no budgetary impact to the City.
