| BACKGROUND: |
Topeka Municipal Code 3.05.050 requires the City Council to set priorities for the budget preparation on or before the third Tuesday of May each year. A resolution will be presented on or before May 15, 2018.
The proposed 2019 budget priorities were:
- Investing in Infrastructure
- Continuing a Commitment to Public Safety
- Continuing a Commitment to Developing Neighborhoods
- Selected Strategic Investments toward Quality of Life
- Improving Fiscal Sustainability
